access catalog for all of the libraries in the North Country ( over 400
). The libraries include all school libraries, public libraries,
community colleges and SUNY Plattsburgh. There are over 1 million
records in this database and is the primary resource for finding books
in the North Country.
This is a online magazine
index available through a grant by the CEWW School Library System. ( For
those of you who are familiar with the Electric Library , this is
similar. ) There are hundreds of magazines indexed from 1986 to the
current week. Most of the articles are full-text and extremely current -
weekly magazines such as Newsweek and Time are input immediately. It is
fairly easy to use.
Prepares students for the
math portion of the SAT. It offers a diagnostic test that show areas
most in need of improvement, 25 tutorial sections w/interactive lessons,
strategies, quiz questions, simulated tests, and online tutoring.
Membership is $20 per month.
