I have called
Willsboro home since I was 11 years old, and I love being a part of the
community. I am married to Peter Jacques, and have raised three
wonderful and unique sons here: Cory, Nate and Marc. Now, I
have a very special daughter-in-law, Jennifer, and a beautiful
granddaughter named Hillary to make my life complete.
I graduated from
Willsboro Central School, attended SUNY Potsdam, Clinton Community College
and SUNY Plattsburgh. I consider my biggest accomplishment to be
earning a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Special Education, and a
Masters Degree in Special Education from SUNY Plattsburgh as an adult
student and mother of three active boys.
My first teaching
job was a Special Education position at BOCES. I then worked at
Keene Central School as a Consultant Special Education Teacher. When
a first grade position became available at Willsboro, I was very happy to
work in my community and be close to my family.
At Willsboro, I was
a first grade teacher for four years, three of which I team taught with
Lorilee Sheehan. I am happy to say that kindergarten has been my
home away from home for nine years. Debbie Anderson and I work
together and strive to make our classrooms a special place. I
consider all my students to be my family, and I hope that they all have
great memories of their first years in school.
Someday I would
like to go back to school and earn a degree in art.
