Mrs. Drollette
Fourth Grade Teacher

I never really knew that I wanted to be a teacher while I was in college, until my parents started noticing how much I enjoyed teaching my nieces and nephews.  They encouraged me to seek out teaching as a career and I am very thankful for all their support in doing so.  I attended SUNY Potsdam and then transferred to SUNY Plattsburgh where I received my BA in Elementary Education N-6 and my Masters in Reading.

This is my eighth year teaching at Willsboro Central.  I currently teach fourth grade, but in the past have also taught fifth and sixth grade.  Prior to teaching at Willsboro, I taught for two years at Holy Name School in AuSable Forks, which will always be close to my heart.

I love spending time with my family, especially at my parents' house, enjoying beautiful Lake Champlain.  My husband, Rich and my two wonderful children, Aliceson and Robby are an inspiration in my life.  Aliceson is in 1st grade and loves teaching as much as I do, as well as dancing.  Robby is in Pre-K and enjoys fishing and catching any kind of bug.  My 12 nieces and nephews are continually in my heart and through them I have learned how precious life is.  I try to carry this message to my students in my classroom, where I believe so many things outside of academics need to be taught.
