a)       Approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on 9-11-07.

5.        Board Presentations

a)       Preview of Pre-K program.

b)       Presentation by The Prevention Team, Mac McDevitt and Darcy Hurlburt .

6.        New Business

a)       Approve the enrichment activity of a geography study group in preparation for the geography bee – this group will be directed by Laura Bridge .  The budgeted amount of payment will be $200.00.

b)       Approve the use of Willsboro Central School as a Red Cross Emergency shelter.

c)       Accept the donation of $1,000.00 from the Friend’s of the Library.  This money will be used by our drama students to purchase tickets for a play in Albany in January.

d)       Accept the Special Education recommendation.

e)       Recommend the disposal of a surplus item (old TV) that is no longer working.

7.        Business & Finance

a)       Receive and accept the Internal Claims Auditor report dated 9/24/07.

b)       Accept the payment of $24.30 from the Essex County Volunteer Fire and Police Association for a book donated to our school library in memory of Leman Moran.

8.        Board Policies – First Reading

a)       Revised policy 1530; adopted on September 9, 2003 – Smoking on School Premises

9.        Personnel – Consent Agenda

a)       Recommend the approval of Gerald Goulet as a substitute teacher for the 2007 – 08 school year.

b)       Recommend the approval for Jane Casamento ’s unpaid leave on March 25^th – 28^th, 2008.

c)       Approve the recommendation of David Lee as Bowling Coach, at $1,785.00.

d)       Approve the recommendation of Rob LePage as Modified Girls Basketball Coach, at $2,677.00.

e)       Accept the following to be election inspectors at the Bond Vote on October 23, 2007:

·         Janice Allen

·         Edna Coonrod

·         Grace Uhlig

·         Fae Bigelow

·         Mary Garvey

·         Dorothy Bliss

10.     Board Discussion

a)       Would any of our board members like to attend the Clinton-Essex-Warren-Washington School Boards Association meeting to be held on November 1, 2007 at Cricket’s in Peru , New York ?
