Reports from Superintendent

  • Smith House

We are working with the Smith House on a program called “Impact Training”; it’s a program to help manage concussions in our athletes.  It will test if the athlete is ready to return back after a head injury.  We will be meeting with Mark Donnelly, Plattsburgh High School who has done the program with his athletes.

  • New Teacher Orientation

All of our new teachers came in on 8/14/07; they were given a tour of the district, they reviewed the staff handbook and went over expectations of them.  We had four of our veteran teachers come and have lunch and answer any questions that the new teachers may have had.

  • District Independent Auditor

The auditor is on site and reviewing our financial records.  Everything is going well and hopefully by the first part of September we will receive her audit report for district review.

Reports from Board Committees

Mr. Hale updated the board on the Old School.  He will go over more at the Old School committee meeting that will be held on August 21, 2007 at 6:30pm.
