Meeting was called to order at 6:01pm, by

Approval of Minutes
Motion by Craig Jackson,
seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the minutes
from the regular meeting held on 3-11-08.
New Business
Motion by Craig Jackson,
seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the 2008
– 09 school calendar.
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried
(5-0) to table the request from Eli Schwartzberg to complete the
application for the Old School to be considered on the State and
National Registers of Historic Places.
Motion by Scott Sayward, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0)
to approve the request from ACAP, Inc. Head Start to park its bus at the
Willsboro
School
bus garage.
Business & Finance
Motion by Craig Jackson,
seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the March
monthly treasurer’s report.
Motion by Bruce Hale, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0)
to approve the claims auditor report dated 3/20/08.
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0)
to approve the invoice from SEI Design Group for $10,563.31 for
professional services from January 15, 2008 to February 15, 2008 related
to our Excel project.
Personnel-Consent

Motion by Bruce Hale,
seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to approve effective
March 17, 2008, through the remainder of the 2008 school year, Michael
Lewandowski as a substitute teacher replacing Ms.
Beth Moore
who is on indefinite sick leave. Mr.
Lewandowski is a certified music teacher and will be paid as per policy
of a substitute with forty – plus consecutive days in the same
capacity.
Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried
(5-0) to approve the emergency conditional appointment of William Fisher
as a substitute teacher.
Superintendents Report
Ø
The board was provided with a copy of Connor Sheehan’s
award winning essay related to disabilities.
Ø
Our school is now on the list of Tobacco Free Schools and
received the grant money
Ø
On March 20th, a senior from
Plattsburgh
State
, Angell Acosta, gave a motivational speech to our 7th and 8th
grade students, relating to achieving your dreams.

Presented the board with a draft of the budget.
