Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm, by Andrea Robare .

Approval of Minutes
Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on 2-26-08.

New Business
Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the Special Education recommendations.

Business & Finance
Motion by Bruce Hale, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the internal auditor’s report from Telling & Conroy, et al. and the school’s response for corrective action.

Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the real property adjustments as presented by the Office of Real Property. 

Budget Briefing
Mr. Broadwell gave the board an update on the 2008 - 09 budget and reviewed the current projected amounts.

Board Discussion

• NYSIR funded property valuation – NYSIR will sponsor, tag and inventory our equipment at no charge to the district.

• Discussion of emergency snow days – we have used all of our planned days.  If we need another emergency day we will be in session on April 11^th.  Staff members that already have travel plans made; may take this day as “unpaid”.

Reports from the Superintendent

• Derrick Hopkins is trying to assemble a play for the summer that will allow students from Willsboro and Au Sable to perform together.  The play will be performed at Willsboro and Au Sable schools.

• Mountain Lakes Services asked for submissions for their “Celebrating Abilities” Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month Essay Contest.  One of our fourth grade students, Connor Sheehan, was the winner of this contest and will be presented with an award

Executive Session
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Craig Jackson, voted and carried (5-0) to enter into executive session at 6:51pm, to discuss personnel and external audit bids.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to exit executive session at 7:58.

Motion by Bruce Hale, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to reject the external audit bids.

Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the appointment of Anthony Cordaro as a building substitute, effective March 26, 2008.
