Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm, by Andrea Robare .

Approval of Minutes
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the minutes from the regular board meeting held on 2-12-08.

Business & Finance
Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the internal claims auditor’s report dated 2-25-08.

Motion by Scott Sayward, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the extra curricular report dated 2-25-08.

New Business
The board received the mid-year accomplishment brochure from CVES.

The board received a preliminary school calendar for the 2008-09 school year. 

The board acknowledged Terri Cioppa for her selection by CVES to participate as a member of a SURR review team to review Albany County School headed by Mr. Craig King, District Superintendent.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the re-certified shared decision making document as adopted December 12, 2001.

Superintendent’s Report

• The Circus fund raiser made $700.00 for the Playground Committee.

• Adult Computer Class is to be held on 2/28/08, we have 18-20 people signed up.

• French Club will to be holding a “Trivia Night” on March 8^th at 6:30 pm, all are welcome to join.

• The ice cream cooler in the cafeteria broke, should be getting it replaced soon.

• The national beef recall didn’t affect our school.

Board Discussion

• Mr. Bruce Hale gave the board a brief update on the Old School.

Executive Session
Motion by Scott Sayward, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to enter into executive session at 6:30pm to discuss personnel issues.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to end executive session at 7:06pm.

Adjournment
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to adjourn the meeting at 7:07pm.
