Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm, by Andrea Robare .

Presentations
The board received a presentation from Marilyn Trienen s, School Librarian; she demonstrated the various programs and features of our computerized library services.

Approval of Minutes
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Craig Jackson, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the minutes from the regular board meeting held on 1-22-08.

Business & Finance
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Scott Sayward, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the $2,000.00 from Champlain Valley Educational Services for our “No Smoking” project.

New Business
Motion Craig Jackson, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the removal and disposal of an overhead projector #100582 that is no longer working.

Motion by Craig Jackson, seconded by Phyllis Klein, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the Special Education recommendation.

Personnel-Consent Agenda
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the emergency conditional appointment of Drew Belois as substitute teacher.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the emergency conditional appointment of Elizabeth Bonfante as substitute teacher.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to accept the emergency conditional appointment of Claudia Caveney as the temporary music teacher.

Board Policies
Motion by Bruce Hale, seconded by Craig Jackson, voted and carried (5-0) to approve the Child Abuse in a Domestic Setting policy.

Board Discussion
Mr. Bruce Hale updated the board on the Old School.

Executive Session
Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to enter in to executive session at 6:49pm to discuss personnel issues.

Motion by Phyllis Klein, seconded by Bruce Hale, voted and carried (5-0) to end executive session at 8:05pm.
